Applications are open for the USTA Texas Tennis Foundation’s annual scholarship program, which provides meaningful financial support to Texas students taking the next step in their educational journey.
Through this year’s program, the Foundation will award up to $25,000 in general scholarships, with individual awards starting at $1,000. In addition, several named scholarships honoring individuals will be offered, with awards beginning at $2,500.
Designed to recognize students who demonstrate academic commitment, leadership, and community involvement, the scholarship program reflects the Foundation’s mission to support education and empower the next generation of leaders through the positive values associated with tennis.
“Our goal is to open doors for students across Texas,” said Kevin Collins, president of the Foundation. “Through one application, students can access multiple scholarship opportunities that celebrate not only academic achievement but also character, service, and leadership.”
The scholarship program is open to eligible students residing within the USTA Texas Section who are pursuing postsecondary education. While connections to tennis are encouraged, the program recognizes a broad range of experiences and accomplishments, reinforcing the Foundation’s commitment to inclusivity and opportunity.
Applications are open now, and the deadline to apply is May 1.
