SCHOLARSHIPS
The USTA Texas Tennis Foundation scholarship program seeks to identify and support students who combine academic promise with character and a commitment to their community. Through the generosity of many individuals, nonprofit organizations and corporations, the USTA Texas Tennis Foundation has established, need-based scholarships for students who are US Citizens, live within the USTA Texas section and have an interest in tennis. Scholarship support provides students an opportunity to obtain a postsecondary education without incurring some of the financial hardships that can come with earning a degree or certification. The support helps students fulfill many goals, develop their talents and broaden their horizons through educational success.
AVAILABLE SCHOLARSHIPS
The USTA Texas Tennis Foundation proudly offers the following scholarship opportunities to support deserving students in their educational pursuits:
THE USTA TEXAS FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS
The Foundation awards up to $25,000 annually in general educational scholarships to deserving students. Scholarship awards range from $1,000 to $5,000 per year.
THE RON WOOD SCHOLARSHIP
The Foundation awards five $2,500 scholarships through the Ron Wood Scholarship, honoring a valued supporter whose commitment to education and opportunity continues to make a lasting impact.
THE MURRAY COULTER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
The Foundation proudly awards one $1,000 scholarship in memory of Murray Coulter, a distinguished individual whose leadership and influence helped shape the Texas tennis community.
THE ANITA BIAGIONI CAMPBELL SCHOLARSHIP
The Foundation is proud to award three $1,000 scholarships in memory of Anita Biagioni Campbell recognizing the values of tennis and education for a new generation of young leaders in Texas.
APPLICATION PROCESS
The USTA Texas Tennis Foundation Scholarships requests the following:

A completed application

Parent/Guardian previous year Federal Income Tax Returns (the same information you send the IRS)

SAT or ACT scores (optional)

Letter of recommendation
-
List of extracurricular activities, including tennis activities and community service

Personal statement including education expectations and career goals

Image / Photograph
