SCHOLARSHIPS
The USTA Texas Tennis Foundation scholarship program seeks to identify and support students who combine academic promise with character and a commitment to their community. Through the generosity of many individuals, nonprofit organizations and corporations, the USTA Texas Tennis Foundation has established, need-based scholarships for students who are US Citizens, live within the USTA Texas section and have an interest in tennis. Scholarship support provides students an opportunity to obtain a postsecondary education without incurring some of the financial hardships that can come with earning a degree or certification. The support helps students fulfill many goals, develop their talents and broaden their horizons through educational success.

AVAILABLE SCHOLARSHIPS
The USTA Texas Tennis Foundation currently offers the following scholarship opportunities:​​

USTA TEXAS FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS. The Foundation will award up to $25,000 in general educational scholarships, with individual awards of $1,000 and above.
​
THE MURRAY COULTER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP. The Foundation proudly awards this $2500 scholarship to one deserving student in memory of a distinguished individual whose influence profoundly shaped the Texas tennis community.
APPLICATION PROCESS
The USTA Texas Tennis Foundation Scholarships requests the following:

A completed application

Parent/Guardian previous year Federal Income Tax Returns (the same information you send the IRS)

SAT or ACT scores (optional)

Letter of recommendation
-
List of extracurricular activities, including tennis activities and community service

Personal statement including education expectations and career goals

Image / Photograph
