The USTA Texas Tennis Foundation was honored to support the 2025 North America Para Standing Tennis Championships, held December 12–14 at the SMU Tennis Complex in Dallas. Returning once again to North Texas, the three-day championship marked an important milestone for the sport, drawing the largest field of para standing athletes to date, with competitors traveling from across the United States and around the world.
Throughout the weekend, athletes showcased extraordinary skill, strength, and resilience. They delivered exciting matches, unforgettable rallies, and powerful reminders of what is possible through adaptive sport. Beyond the competition, the event fostered meaningful connections, new friendships, and a shared celebration of the grit and passion that define Para Standing Tennis.

As part of its ongoing commitment to expanding access and opportunity in tennis, the Foundation was proud to help ensure that charitable resources reached the programs and athletes who make events like this championship possible. This support reflects a shared mission with USTA Texas and the broader adaptive tennis community: to elevate the sport, remove barriers, and create pathways for every player to thrive.
The Foundation extends its gratitude to SMU for once again serving as an outstanding host venue, and to Cindy Benzon, whose dedication and leadership have played a vital role in the continued growth of Para Standing Tennis. Her efforts, and the collective work of countless volunteers and partners, are helping the sport reach new heights year after year.
The 2025 Championships served as a powerful reminder that tennis is strongest when it is inclusive, inspiring, and open to all.
