The Corpus Christi Tennis Association hosted a fundraiser for the Foundation aboard the USS Lexington last week. The dinner and silent auction, which was held in conjunction with the USTA Texas Semi-Annual Meeting, raised over $9,500 for the Foundation. Proceeds will go toward academic scholarships and travel grants.
Each year the Foundation provides and administers funds through its Junior Competitive Player Travel Grant program and educational college scholarship programs. The event included table cards that highlighted previous scholarship winners.
